I know this may seem like a lame write up but I have been asked this question before so I figured I would do a how-to for it.

When we bought my wifes neon it had a nasty cut on it that was in a very bad place. If we did not do something it would have tore soon and then we would have had to replace the steering wheel. So we opted for a steering wheel cover to get by for now.

Here is a pic showing the cut steering wheel followed by another pic of the cover we chose to use.

Ok I will not go into details on how to take the cover out of the box. If you are unable to figure that part out then please by all means seek assistance on this install. After you have the cover out of the box you will need to slip it over the steering wheel. Please note to have the strings at the bottom.

Next untie the long string and start wrapping it tightly around the wheel. Make sure you try to do it evenly for the best looking results. Also try to keep the cover even all the way around the wheel. *WARNING* The string will break if you pull on it too hard. If this happens the best bet is to go out and buy another cover and start over.

And to end it off tie the strings together and knot it a couple times. After its all tied off just trim off the excess string and your done!

Hope you enjoyed this how-to. And as always there are more to come!
