as of 3:40 pm i have used 9 braces and 40 rivets on piecing together the front end. i will keep you posted on th progress and pics should be up tonight.
As the topic says the gallery section is now up. So far I have only uploaded pics of my 1984 Ford Mustang SVO. I am planning to get some more done on the SVO come spring. I will keep you updated on the progress.
As for my other cars. I will have them uploaded as soon as i get a chance. hopefully you will enjoy them. So keep your eyes open for my widebody probe gt and my wifes neon highline. I may even make the site a little homier later by adding other pics like of the family. so you will just have to wait and see what may come.
Lets start at the beginning. I own a 1984 mustang svo, and with all my web searches i have found a svo registry. before this find i was not aware of what a car registry was. Now that i know about vehicle registries i started to think about starting one shortly after i bought my 1993 ford probe gt. seeing that since the ford probe was not as rare as the mustang svo or as popular as the mustang gt there was currently no registry out there for a probe.
ok now that the carbon fiber is in i have started on this project. i am currently working on it for my 93 probe gt so pics will be posted soon to show how it was done. please note this project is using real carbon fiber not some cheap vinal cf look crap. this also is just an overlay not a production vacuum formed or molded piece. if you are looking to save a few ounces this is not for you. but if you are looking to gain the appearance of the real thing then read on.
I know this may seem like a lame write up but I have been asked this question before so I figured I would do a how-to for it.
When we bought my wifes neon it had a nasty cut on it that was in a very bad place. If we did not do something it would have tore soon and then we would have had to replace the steering wheel. So we opted for a steering wheel cover to get by for now.
