    These are the capacitors inside the ECU which are said to give problems. 6 of them. available from component suppliers. they all have their respective ratings on them.

    1x - 35v 220 mu F
    1x - 35v 47 mu F
    2x - 35v 33 mu F
    2x - 10V 470 mu F

      Here is the completed Beat ECU pinout, which is almost obd1.. but without the B-plug, as the Beat only uses an A and D plug.

      <U>Plug A</U>
      A1 – Injector 1 (Red)
      A2 – Engine Ground G101 (Black)
      A3 - Injector 2 (Light Blue)
      A4 - Engine Ground G101 (Black)
      A5 – Injector 3 (Yellow)
      A6 – Brake Switch (Green/white)
      A7 – A8 spliced PGMFI relay pin 1 (Green/Black)
      A8 – A7 spliced (Green/Black)
      A9 - IACV (Black/Blue)
      A10 – Oxygen Sensor Heater (Orange/Black)
      A11 – PGMFI warning light (MIL) (Green/Orange)
      A12 - EMPTY
      A13 – A/C compressor clutch (Pink)
      A14 - EMPTY
      A15 – Coil +A16 spliced
      A16 – Coil +A15 spliced
      A17 – EMPTY
      A18 – EMPTY
      A19 – PGMFI Relay pin 2 (Blue/White) + PGMFI warning light (Yellow) + IG1
      A20 – A/C dash switch (Black/Red)
      A23 – A25 spliced + Main Relay + O2 sensor pin 3 + IACV pin 1
      A24 – Engine Ground G101 (Gray)
      A25 - A23 spliced + Main Relay + O2 sensor pin 3 + IACV pin 1
      A26 - Engine Ground G101 (Brown)

      D6 – CYL sensor Signal (White)
      D7 – TDC sensor Input (Orange/Blue)

            Front brake upgrade using vw sirocco rotors and crx front calipers. not confirmed if it will clear 13" front wheels.
